The Quantum Courser is one of the most unique mounts ever introduced into World of Warcraft. It is a mount that any collector will want to get their hands on because a mount of this type simply does not exist anywhere else in the game. It is one of a kind, featuring a unique mechanic that is sure to impress. However, you'll need a bit of luck and some skill to get your hands on it. Here's how to get the Reins of the Quantum Courser in WoW Dragonflight.
Where to get the Reins of the Quantum Courser in WoW Dragonflight
The Reins of the Quantum Courser was added in the 10.1.5 Dragonflight patch, along with various other events (like the Diluted Time Capsule) and additional content. It can be found only by venturing into the update's newest dungeon, the mega-dungeon Dawn of the Infinite. The long-awaited Infinite Dragonflight has shown itself once again, seeking to mess around with the timeline as they always do. The mount itself drops from the dungeon's final boss, Chrono-Lord Deios.
Dawn of the Infinite is a Mythic-only mega-dungeon and is significantly more difficult than any other dungeon in Dragonflight. With that said, first, you'll need a skilled group of players to run through the dungeon with. Even if you managed to reach Chrono-Lord Deios, unfortunately, the mount has an incredibly low drop rate. You're guaranteed to be running this dungeon every chance you get if you want the mount.
Reins of the Quantum Courser Mechanic, Explained
The Quantum Courser does not have a specific form it takes. Traditional mounts have a model and animations that make it its own thing. However, this mount takes on multiple different forms, but you'll get the chance to get the form once. So, the way it works is that you get the Quantum Courser, click on it to mount it, and the mount itself changes into a mount from WoW's past. For example, you could click on the Quantum Courser and get Marrowfang's Reins. You would then add Marrowfang's Reins to your mount collection as a permanent addition.
Some final notes about the Quantum Courser are that it does have duplicate protection and will not transform into a mount you already own. It is tradeable with only the players you ran the dungeon with.
