If you're trying to get the first rune for the Warlock class in WoW Season of Discovery, you're going to need to do a little swimming. Getting the rune can be a little difficult if you don't know where to look, so here's everything you need to know.
How to complete the Stolen Power Rune Quest in WoW Season of Discovery
To obtain the Rune of Haunting, you're going to have to start the Stolen Power questline. You can pick up this quest at any time after hitting level 2 and speaking with the Warlock trainer located within The Den. Once you've gotten the quest, you'll need to head to the Burning Blade Coven located in Durotar (45.2, 56.8).
Once you reach the coven, be wary of the various demons inside. Individually, these demons are not a threat to you, but if you pull more than two, you're going to have a problem due to your limited mana as a Warlock. You need to progress through this cave and find the largest body of water within it. On your mini-map, this body of water is located within the largest part of the cave. Generally speaking, you want to stay to the left as much as possible to reach the water with little issue. If you go right, you'll run into a level 5 orc boss, which you want to avoid at all costs.

When you reach the largest room within the cave, take a dip underwater. You're looking for a small chest near the bottom of the pond you dived into.
Click on this chest to open it and pick the Rune of Haunting inside. At this point, you've already completed your goal as you can simply learn the rune by clicking on it in your inventory. However, if you were unlucky and did not loot a pair of gloves to equip the rune on, head back to the Warlock trainer and complete the Stolen Power quest. Upon completion, you'll be rewarded with a pair of gloves, allowing you to cast Haunt when equipping the rune.
