A new set of Mythic+ Dungeons has arrived in World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 2, and one of them is the fan-favorite of Freehold. This is a dungeon from the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Here's how to get to it in Dragonflight.
Freehold Entrance Location in World of Warcraft
Like the other Mythic dungeons, there's a portal in Valdrakken just to the left of the Great Vault that will take you right to the dungeon area. Instead of taking you to the entrance, the Freehold one makes you fly a bit. You'll have to choose the Tiragarde Sound portal, and once you teleport to the new area, fly southeast until you find Freehold.

It's a bit of a trek, but it should be no issue since you'll just fly there. Dragonriding isn't active in this zone, but it's still not too bad. It's nothing compared to the Uldaman portal that is found in another part of Valdrakken altogether, so players have that going for them.
What loot comes from Freehold in Dragonflight?
While this might be a dungeon from several expansions ago, the loot has been updated for Dragonflight Season 2 to drop more item-level-appropriate gear. If you've ever wanted a hook for a weapon, the Sharkbait's Fishhook mace will be right up your alley.
Some of the gear that does drop is considered to be best in slot for tanks when it comes to Mythic+ dungeons. The Sharkwater Waders, Harness Girdle, and Knuckled Grips will fit right in if you're in a tank spec, so it's a dungeon worth farming just for that. Of course, getting loot from a Mythic+ dungeon is easier said than done, as it's a completely random drop.
