Forbidden Hoard events are a type of event that only takes place within the confines of the Forbidden Reach. To begin one, you must first wait for one to spawn on your map. A Forbidden Hoard starts every 30 minutes, and they appear on your map when they are about to begin. As mentioned earlier, Forbidden Hoards have no requirements for participation. If you see an active Forbidden Hoard on your map, simply going over to it will enter you into the event. Note that there are several possible locations where a Forbidden Hoard event can spawn, so keep an eye on your map while you're adventuring within the Forbidden Reach.

Completion of a Forbidden Hoard is just as simple as starting one. In order to finish this event, simply kill all the elite enemies that spawn within the event area. Doing so will grant you, and any other players that participated in the event, the opportunity to open a reward chest. Forbidden Hoard chests yield valuable Forbidden Reach-related rewards, like Untapped Forbidden Knowledge and Zskera Vault Keys.
