How to unlock the mechanism through the remote-controlled doll device in Wuthering Waves

In the Wuthering Waves Yinlin Companion Story: Solitary Path, you'll be led into a Doll Factory where you will be introduced to a new puzzle mechanic that involves using a remote-controlled doll to comple exploration objectives. In this guide, I'll show you how to unlock the mechanism through the remote-controlled doll device.

Upon starting the mechanism puzzle, you'll find two platforms—one with a cube and one without—and a second cube trapped behind laser bars. First, your Resonator must step on the free platform to dispel the lasers blocking the second cube.

Next, use the Levitator to pick up the cube, then place it on the same platform your Resonator had been stepping on. Doing so will allow you to keep the cell open and enter it without keeping your character stationary.

Next, enter the cell and loot the Basic Supply Chest. As this area is a quest-specific domain, you won't be able to re-enter to loot what you missed later on. Once done, interact with the Manipulating Dolls mechanism to turn into a doll.

Once you've turned into a doll, head toward the bridge blocked by lasers. In this smaller form, you'll be able to slip through the barriers through the opening at the bottom.

After getting past three laser barriers, go up the stairs on the right to find a red platform. Position the doll on top of the platform, then click on the Resonance Skill button (E for PC) to switch back to drop the doll in place and switch back to your Resonator. Placing the doll on the platform will disable all the laser barriers in the area, allowing your character to cross the bridge.

Now, in control of your Resonator, cross the same bridge where the lasers have been deactivated and then enter the door leading to the next room. Defeat the enemies and proceed onward.

You'll encounter another puzzle that involves using the doll device to pass through the laser barriers. Start by interacting with the Manipulating Dolls mechanism to switch controls.

Once in control of the doll, step onto the platform and release by clicking on the Resonance Skill button (E for PC). Doing so will switch your control back to the Resonator and remove the laser barrier on the left.

Enter the area via the left side to find another Manipulating Dolls mechanism and platform. Like before, interact with the second Manipulating Dolls mechanism to switch back to the doll, then drop it onto the platform to break down the last few laser barriers. Once done, you can proceed onward with your Resonator.
