14 Notable wrestlers who are missing from WWE 2K22’s roster

Missing one of your favorites?

Wrestling fans get understandably hyped when playing WWE games. The chance to play as your favorite wrestler and win some matches is an exciting prospect, and many flock to feed this fantasy. What about when certain wrestlers are missing, though? Here are the wrestlers missing from WWE 2K22.

There are reasons for why some notable wrestlers are absent from the roster for this year's game, but some are admittedly a bit more mysterious.

Wrestlers Missing from the Roster

  • Adam Cole
  • Bron Breakker
  • Carmelo Hayes
  • Commander Azeez
  • Daniel Bryan
  • Doudrop
  • Grayson Waller
  • Harland
  • Ilja Dragunov
  • Madcap Moss
  • Omos
  • Paige
  • Rick Boogs
  • Zelina Vega

In the instances of Daniel Bryan and Paige, they are no longer with the company which is the reason for their absence. They do have a lot of fans though, so if they had been on the list in 2K22 it would not have been so surprising. Paige, however, is still on the books due to forced retirement, so really she should have still been included in WWE 2K22.

Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, both now wrestle for AEW, so their omission makes sense. The mysterious part here is the fact that Kyle O'Reilly and Keith Lee still appear in the game despite switching to AEW, so maybe they were able to broker a deal for one last game? This has not been insinuated nor confirmed.

For the rest of the missing wrestlers, it is most likely that they were hired on the roster too late into the game's production to be included—so they will probably be in the next WWE 2K game. Oddly enoguh, Ilja Dragunov did have their movesets recorded for the game but still were not included.

Future DLC updates will no doubt fill in some blanks in the roster and have players be able to add more wrestlers to their collection.
