What are the best Paybacks in WWE 2K24?

While all Paybacks can give advantages in matches, some are better than others. Paybacks that can result in DQ can inflict a lot of damage or leave the opponent stunned for a while, but the risk is usually not worth the reward.

The best Paybacks are as follows:

  • Resiliency
  • Iron Jaw
  • Freeze
  • Comeback

Resiliency is one of the best Paybacks because it can save you from losing a match if used in the right time. Iron Jaw can be a game-changer, as it can remove stun, which is very important if your opponent has a Super Finisher stock available while you are stunned. Freeze can be used to allow yourself to use a Finisher or escape from danger. The Comeback Payback is great because it inflicts damage and if you complete the mini-game correctly, will leave you in a position to dish out more moves.

How to use Paybacks in WWE 2K24

Paybacks are moves that will shift the momentum of a match by doing damage or leaving the opponent in a dazed state. Each Superstar can have two Paybacks equipped at a time. To perform a Payback, you must have a Finisher stock available and position the opponent in the right spot.

  • PlayStation: (RT + Triangle)
  • Xbox: (RT + Y)
  • To switch Paybacks: (Left D-Pad Down)
