With the open XDefiant session coming up, players are jumping into the fray and letting bullets fly, and despite my lack of shooter skills, I'm joining in. However, if you're like me and run into the FOXTROT-01 error, your fun will take a hit.
FOXTROT-01 Error Code (XDefiant)
XDefiant is in open beta, so issues are bound to occur, especially given its online multiplayer; the FOXTROT-01 error is one such example. It's frustrating and can prevent you from jumping into the game and playing, but fortunately, there are some solutions you can try, which I have listed below.

- Close and restart XDefiant.
- Check and restart your internet.
- Restart your PC or console.
- Disable VPN
- Uninstall and reinstall XDefiant
If all these solutions fail, you may need to contact Ubisoft for further solutions. This can be done on the official XDefiant Twitter page. You can also follow the page for updates and the server status.
What causes the XDefiant FOXTROT-01 Error?
The main culprit behind the FOXTROT-01 error is the servers. It can be caused by server overload, where too many players are logging in at one time, or an internal error. Updates or patches can also introduce new bugs that can cause problems.
