Developer Tiny Roar released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game XEL. XEL is inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and features an over-the-top view similar to 2D Zelda games.
The trailer was revealed on the publisher, Assemble Entertainment's official YouTube channel. It showcases the world of XEL and some of the characters you will meet, as well as gameplay mechanics, specifically the time-bending abilities. The trailer ends with the statement, "Unravel the secrets of XEL," before an ominous track plays.

XEL takes its inspiration from The Legend of Zelda series, emphasizing exploration, combat, and solving puzzles. This new trailer showcases these aspects and how using the protagonist, Reid's time-bending abilities, will help you do this.
