One of my favorite NPCs from Breath of the Wild is Kilton because of his curious obsession with monsters. While I'm glad he returns in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I was further surprised by the addition of his younger brother, Koltin. Koltin provides a series of requests offering monster-based armor, but you must find him first. Fortunately, I've hunted down this NPC and marked the locations below.
Where to find Koltin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK) - Exact location
You can find Koltin in various locations, but you must first begin the quest for him to appear. This is The Search for Koltin side quest, which you can begin after completing The Hunt for Bubbul Gems quest. This is located at the first location where you find Koltin and Kilton.
North of Woodland Stable - Koltin Exact Location TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)
- Coordinates - 1222, 1207, 0020
- Fast Travel Point - Ekochiu Shrine
You will find Koltin and his brother, Kilton, standing outside a cave beside their balloon. Ensure you have a Bubbul Gem before coming here, as you must give one to Koltin. There is one you can grab in the cave if you don't already have one. This ignites Koltin's quest, and you must head toward Tarry Town.
North of Tarrey Town - Koltin Exact Location TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)
- Coordinates - 3662, 2065, 0168
- Fast Travel Point - Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower
Head into Tarrey Town and find Kilton in the north part of town at coordinates 3959, 1643, 0218. Speak to him to learn where Koltin is located and head there. Koltin's shop only appeared at night for me, so light a fire and rest until nightfall, if needed.

South of Lookout Landing - Koltin Exact Location TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)
- Coordinates - -0319, -0162, 0022
- Fast Travel Point - Lookout Landing Skyview Tower
Koltin can also be found just south of Lookout Landing in the woods between the town and the Hyrule Field Chasm in the Passeri Greenbelt.
South of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower - Koltin Exact Location TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)
- Coordinates - 0587, -2682, 0112
- Fast Travel Point - Popla Foothills Skyview Tower
The final location for Koltin is just south of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. Head south toward Farosh Hills, and you will spot Koltin's glowing shop.
