Best Crops To Grow in Zelda TotK (Tears of the Kingdom)

Kick back and garden like a pro.

I love a good farming sim, and the farming mechanics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom satisfy my love of gardening. While I wasn't able to grow everything (really sad Bomb Flowers can't be grown), the items available are extremely helpful as you play. This left me wondering what the best thing to plant and maximize my harvest in Tears of the Kingdom was, and I've listed it out for you here.

Best Items to plant in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Three items stood out when it came to what I planted in my garden at Hateno Village. After planting your crops, you need to wait at least two days before you can harvest them, and you cannot simply wait in Hateno Village. That said, here are the best ingredients to farm in Tears of the Kingdom.

  • Endura Carrots
    • These give temporary stamina, making them invaluable.
  • Hearty Radish/Big Hearty Radish
    • Radishes give temporary hearts while restoring health as well.
  • Fortified Pumpkin
    • Fortified Pumpkins gives you a greatly increased defense.
