How to clear Gatakis Shrine (Ride the Winds) in Zelda TotK (Tears of the Kingdom)

Find a balance.

You'll come across many shrines as you journey through Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Easier ones to find include those that are near Villages that you are likely to visit early on in your journey. Gatakis Shrine is one example. Don't think this means that the shrine challenge itself will be easy; I found that it requires keen balance and a proficiency with Link's paraglider. Need our help to clear it? Here's how I made it through the Shrine.

Gatakis Shrine is located at Rito Village. The exact Coordinates are -3650, 1805, 0168. It serves as a great teleport waypoint for the Village as a whole and is relatively easy to reach.

When you first enter Gatakis shrine, the obvious first step is to use your paraglider to glide across the chasm to the platform below. I suggest landing for a minute rather than letting the wind carry you to the right for the next step because it takes careful aim.

If you look to the right, you'll see lasers blocking the way. You'll need to glide, carried by the wind, through them to the platform on the left hand side. I found the easiest way to do this was to hug the left hand side wall as I went.

Your next step will be to dive down a wind tunnel with the current pushing against you. If you open your paraglider at any point, you will rise. There is a rotating disc that may block your way unless you time your dodge right. Try to dive just before the open third of the disc reaches you and you should clear it easily.

Keep diving until you can see the four fans creating the wind tunnel. You should see two platforms with one Zonai construct each in front of you. Instead of aiming forward, look to your left. You'll see a slightly longer platform with a Zonai construct and the shrine's optional chest.

Destroy the construct anyway you choose, then collect your prize.

From here, it's a short flight to the end of the shrine. You'll need to balance between diving and opening your paraglider to carry Link through a hole in the wall between the two Zonai constructs you saw earlier.

Be very careful about going down too quickly, particularly once you've gone through the gap, as this will reset Link, and you'll loose a heart. As soon as you've crossed through the wall, you are actually safe to simply open your paraglider and be lifted to the end of the shrine.
