How to clear Mayaumekis Shrine (Downward Force) in Zelda TotK (Tears of the Kingdom)

Come prepared with arrows!

Mayaumekis Shrine is one of the many Shrines I encountered while exploring the Sky in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you're stuck on what to do, here's how to clear the Mayaumekis Shrine (Downward Force) in Tears of the Kingdom.

As soon as you enter the Shrine, you'll see a closed gate and a yellow switch on the other side. As a veteran The Legend of Zelda fan, I knew what to do here instantly: shoot the switch with an arrow to raise the gate.

Walk up both sets of stairs on the other side, and you'll find a hostile Soldier Construct. Whack it a couple of times with your weapon or shoot it in its red eye with an arrow to take it out, then jump on the trampoline to the right to fly up into the air.

Land on the platform above, then jump on the trampoline to the north. Once you're in the air, look ahead, and you'll see a moving trampoline platform; jump on that one, too, to land on another platform. There are three more trampolines here.

Don't move on. Instead, look up, and you'll spot a gated room. Peer through the bars in front of you; there is a switch here. Jump on the first trampoline and, while mid-jump, whip out Link's bow and shoot the switch with an arrow. The floor of the room will open up, allowing you to jump inside via the second trampoline.

Land on the floor inside the room, and you'll be at the Shrine seal. Interact with it to complete Mayaumekis Shrine and get a Blessing of Light.

How to get the Mayaumekis Shrine (Downward Force) chest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The chest is on a small platform above the moving platform after beating the Construct. Land on the moving platform, but instead of jumping ahead, take a left while in the air to reach the chest. Open it for 10 Arrows.

To find Mayaumekis Shrine in TotK, launch into the Sky from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and glide northeast to reach the Rising Island Chain. You'll spot the familiar green of a Shrine here; that's Mayaumekis Shrine. Its map coordinates are -2949, 3047, 0896.
