These beetles are quick.

I love bugs, and catching bugs in The Legend of Zelda series has been a favorite of mine since Twilight Princess. Tears of the Kingdom has numerous bugs to find, one of which is the Bladed Rhino Beetle. This cute critter is perfect for an attack boost, something I need since I am not the best at combat. Check out where to find and farm the Bladed Rhino Beetle in Tears of the Kingdom below!

The best place to farm Bladed Rhino Beetles is in the jungles of Necluda, specifically south of Mount Floria and north of the Lakeside Stable. Bladed Rhino Beetles spawn on trees, typically the ones with smooth bark and not the palm trees. You can spot them by their blue color or using the Purah Pad's Sensor. They can be found throughout the jungle, but several spawn near the NPC surrounded by Dondons at the coordinates 1553, -3346, 0059.

Bladed Rhino Beetles can be difficult to catch, as they sometimes spawn high up in the trees. Getting close will spook them and cause them to fly away. The solution is to use the Stealth Armor and Sneaky Elixirs and recipes. This increases your stealth and lets you sneakily climb trees. Reach the Bladed Rhino Beetle and quickly press A to grab them before they can fly off.

What do Bladed Rhino Beetles do in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)?

These beetles are one of many ingredients in Tears of the Kingdom. When Bladed Rhino Beetles are cooked with monster parts, you can make an elixir that increases your attack. This lets you deal extra damage and is very powerful when combined with the Barbarian Armor. Alternatively, you can give them to Beedle for rewards.
