Talented YouTuber recreates Zelda Tears of the Kingdom trailer with BotW graphics comparisons

Compare one world across two games.

Zelda fans have been combing through every second of footage from the few trailers we've received, but some are doing this with a comparison angle between Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. One fan even created a side-by-side comparison video between the two games.

This comparison video comes from the Looygi Bros. and painfully recreates the trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom using scenes and shots from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, stating, "Our camera work and splitscreen comparisons will highlight differences and small details - level of detail (draw distance), geography changes, additions to the map, etc."

This is an incredible project that showcases the graphical comparison and how the shared world differs in Tears of the Kingdom from Breath of the Wild. Many of the shots look identical, but you can also see slight changes in the world to show the passage of time. We've only scratched the surface of what to expect in Tears of the Kingdom, but fans are definitely hyped for this sequel.

It must be noted that, despite this impressive work, the comparisons are not completely accurate. This is because the Tears of the Kingdom footage is from trailers, while the Breath of the Wild footage is from in-game gameplay. The trailer footage may have been enhanced, but it is also possible that the game will look as the trailers do.
