Zelda BOTW Camel Divine Beast Walkthrough (Vah Naboris)

One Divine Beast, complete with rotating parts.

While dungeons may not be the strongsuit of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the divine beast of the Gerudo Desert can still prove a challenge to players. Not only is the boss incredibly difficult to beat, but unlocking the fight requires unlocking five different points on Vah Naboris. To get to the terminals, the three columns on Vah Naboris need to be positioned in specific places.

How to complete the puzzle within Vah Naboris in Breath of the Wild

The main idea behind this Breath of the Wild Divine Beast is linking up the power in such a way as to unlock the main boss terminal. The first step is to activate the terminals by heading to the back of the dungeon and turning on the Guidance Stone. This is easily done by climbing to the side and using the Sailcloth to glide onto the platform at the back.

Once the Guidance Stone is on, the five terminals will light up and Link will be able to rotate the three columns on Vah Naboris' body. To activate the first terminal, Link needs to turn around, hop on the central platform and take a right outside the room.

Once outside, turn right and look at the wall for a large circle. This is actually an opening, and if Link rotates the column in that area, the opening into the terminal room will show. Jump in, and turn on the first terminal.

This one is back in the central room, but it's upside down. To access it, Link needs to rotate the column so that he can stand on the platform as it rotates upward. Once he and the terminal are both facing upward, he can activate it.

To get to the other terminals, Link needs to get to the top level of the Divine Beast. To start off, players should notice an electric node in the center of the dungeon. Link can line up the columns of Vah Naboris so that the node is on top with a current flowing from either end of the dungeon. This will cause the back of Vah Naboris to open up.

Rotate the column in the back so that Link can stand on a platform where he can walk onto a ramp that leads to the back of Vah Naboris. There is a small Magnesis puzzle here; basically, players just need the electric current to flow through the magnetic blocks to the end of Vah Naboris' tail. This causes the tail to contract, and rotating any part of Vah Naboris makes the tail detract again (since the current breaks).

Now, to actually get on the top level, players should rotate Vah Naboris once to break the current and then head to the very back of the tail. Afterwards, rotate again to match up the current, which will push the tail up with Link on top. From there, players just need to shoot down a bit of Malice, and they can enter the top level.

Third Terminal

Once on top of Vah Naboris, players will be in a cylindrical room. Stand in the center to cause the middle platform to go up and down. At the same time (this is a bit tricky), players will need to use Magnesis to grab an orb that is on the wall, but it's only visible when the platform is going down.

By snagging the orb, Link can turn on the small electric orb at the top. This moves a platform in the room beyond, allowing Link to cross, shoot down another pile of malice, and activate the third terminal.

Fourth Terminal

To open the room for the fourth terminal (the one in the top middle of Vah Naboris), players will need two of those magnetic orbs. In the room of the third terminal, one orb can be found standing on the middle platform and riding it to the top floor. Grab the orb, and then use the same elevator to ride to the very bottom. The magnetic orb will open the room, and there will be one of two pedestals to place the orb on.

The second orb is from the previous room that Link entered when he first got to the top level of Vah Naboris. Go back to that room, grab the other orb, return, and place the orb on the other pedestal. This will cause the bars on the side to release, and their Link can access the fourth terminal.

Fifth Terminal

The final terminal is actually on Vah Naboris' head. Link needs to head to that area from the room of the fourth terminal. There will be a wheel on top of a platform with two electric nodes on the side. By rotating it both ways, (clockwise and then counterclockwise), players can bring up both nodes so that they are facing upwards.

After that, players just need to rotate the columns so that the electric current flows through again. This will cause both electric nodes to light up, making the head of Vah Naboris point upwards, and an elevator will present itself. Ride the elevator upwards to activate the final terminal.

How to beat Thunderblight Ganon in Zelda BOTW

If the other Ganonblights seemed easy, Thunderblight Ganon wouldn't be. It's often considered the toughest boss in the game because of how on-point players will need to be with their reactions.

Thunderblight Ganon's main form of attack is zig zagging from far away and then striking with a powerful sword attack. The only way to deal with this is to parry or backflip right before he attacks. For the best times, click right before hearing the third zig zag.

Thunderblight's other attack is raining a bunch of stokes onto the ground close to Link and striking them with lighting. It's easy to dodge if Link is sprinting around, but at some point, he will need to throw a metal weapon at Thunderblight before his lightning strikes.
