Can you reset your skills in The Ascent?

A pricey business

When you level up in The Ascent, you will get a certain number of Skill Points you can spend on skills to improve your odds of surviving. If you aren't happy about your allocation of the Skill Points you've used so far, don't worry, as there is a way you can reset them and reallocate everything once again.

You must find an NPC called the Grafter in the Warrens tier in the Cluster 13 District. On your map, this will be the icon with the DNA symbol. Head, for this NPC, speak to them and choose the option to Go in for surgery.

Surgery allows you to reset your skills but for a cost. The initial cost is 3,800 Ucred, which is the currency of The Ascent. This cost is based on the number of skill points you have used—the more you have allocated, the more pricey the reset is. So it's best for you only to use this if you really hate the build you were going with or have numerous levels worth of skills to allocate. It's not worth resetting when you're only level two.

Inside the Surgery mechanic, you can also change your Augments without losing Energy and change your appearance at no extra cost.
