Roblox Talent Hub allows creators to post job listings and connect on the platform

The LinkedIn of Roblox.

The Roblox Talent Hub appeared on Google on Aug. 3, 2021, but the website itself has not yet gone live. The Talent Hub is designed as a place for Roblox creators to connect and post job ads by keeping business on the platform. Here's everything we know about the Roblox Talent Hub until the website launches.

What is Roblox Talent Hub?

Roblox Talent Hub is planned as a one-stop resource for developers to connect with creators for work on Roblox games and experiences. The website was originally revealed during the Roblox Developers Conference 2020 (RDC 2020), according to Bloxy News. Every user in the Talent Hub will be able to create their own profile. Creators can label themselves with special skillsets such as: Modeler, Animator, Programmer, and more. This allows developers and creators to directly connect with each other on specific jobs and work.

Essentially, the Roblox Talent Hub is a job board similar to LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor. But all business conducted on the Talent Hub is exclusive to Roblox, which simplifies the development process between all parties. Developers can post job ads (appearing on a news feed) stating exactly what type of work they are looking for within the description. Then, other users can apply for the role if they meet the requirements.

Although not confirmed, payment is expected to be conducted through Robux or real world currency, as decided on a case-by-case basis. The leaked image below from JullianRBX shows that users may filter the Compensation Type while searching for jobs, thus making it easier to find work based upon the user's desired payment.

Roblox Talent Hub Requirements

The Roblox Talent Hub has not yet gone live and as a result, the official requirements have not been released to the public. We assume users must complete an application process to join the Talent Hub. From there, we believe the user must complete a profile stating what kind of developer/creator they are, along with what type of work they are looking for. This is all speculation, however, and should be taken as just that.

Users that attempt to enter the Roblox Talent Hub will be met with a "Not Authorized" message for the time being. As soon as the requirements are made available in more detail, we'll be sure to update this page.

How to join Roblox Talent Hub

Of course, to join the Roblox Talent Hub, the user must be a creator of some sort. Meaning, the user must specialize in Programming Languages, Audio, Game Design, or other roles associated with creating a Roblox experience. There is no official onboarding process as of this time of writing. We'll be sure to update this page with the official process as soon as it is available to public.

Within the thread, the screenshots show images on how to create a job, how to edit your creator profile, and more. It appears that reputable developers will also receive a verification symbol next to their username on the Talent Hub. We'll be sure to cover these aspects of the Talent Hub in more detail when the information is live and confirmed by Roblox.
