If you are trying to burgle ten houses for the challenge, just get one item and book it. If you stay longer than you should, you increase the chances of getting caught either by the owner or police, and you will go to jail.

Because of this, it's better to get a few items and get out and not to linger, so you don't make any mistakes and go to jail.
