How to Fast Travel in Tales of Arise

Here's how fast traveling works in Tales of Arise.

If you ever want to avoid the pain of backtracking in Tales of Arise or having to fight a ton of enemies you can otherwise avoid, fast travel is an option in Tales of Arise.

To fast travel in Tales of Arise, you will need to progress to the point where you and Shionne are exploring a Renan ruin for Renan equipment during the quest Battle preparations.

Completing this quest in its entirety is required before you can fast travel to various locations on the game map. Once this quest is completed, you can fast travel anywhere out in the wild by opening the world map using x, m, or your dedicated map key.

On the map, you will want to look for green markers, as shown above. These green icons are fast travel icons, and clicking one will allow you to travel to it. A location will also need one of these markers if you want to fast travel to it, otherwise walking is your only option for reaching it.

Luckily you'll usually only have to walk to a spot with a fast travel beacon once - after that, you will be able to fast travel from thereon.
