How to get the New Kid on the Block Achievement in Halo Infinite

The New Kid on the Block Achievement requires players to achieve a "Perfect kill" with the VK78 Commando. To get a Perfect, you must hit all headshots, do all damage to the enemy, and not miss a single shot.

This can be fairly difficult with the VK78 Commando because it is a full-auto weapon with high recoil, but luckily, its rate of fire is not too high. Another upside to the VK78 is that it is pretty powerful, so it does not take an entire clip to break an enemy's shield and kill them. The VK78 Commando can be found as a wall weapon, typically appearing in more neutral map areas. It can be more easily located by using the AI scan.

To earn the achievement, it is recommended that players try to fire off one shot at a time and make sure each shot records to the head. It can take only a few shots to kill an enemy if done correctly. The VK78 zoom can be helpful for precise headshots, but some players may be more precise with the classic Halo hip-fire.

The New Kids on the Block achievement rewards 10 Gamerpoints and is considered a rare achievement.
