If you find that your team is overwhelmed by the other team because they have all the vehicles, sometimes it's best to just sneak in, hijack the vehicle, and commandeer control. This can be quite a challenge for some players, though, since most people don't notice those fleeting moments where you have the opportunity.
To hijack an enemy vehicle requires precise timing and reflexes. You can hijack the vehicle the same way you enter it, but when it's moving and (potentially) firing at you. First, get close enough to the vehicle to enter it. If it's moving, the easiest way is to predict where they will be and wait nearby or drop in from above.
When you are next to any seat in the vehicle, press the button below the moment it prompts you.

If you struggle to press the button in time, you can try spamming it as the enemy is getting closer to you. When successful, your Spartan will enter the vehicle either by hanging off the side or sitting in an open seat, and you'll have the option of hitting the enemy in the driver's seat with melee attacks.
