How to destroy an enemy Wasp in Halo Infinite Multiplayer

One of the most intimidating presences on the field is the Wasp, the air vehicle capable of holding back several Spartans at once. Taking them down can prove to be a challenge, as it seems no matter how many clips you empty into them, they just want to stay airborne. However, there are a few methods to take them down!

How to take down a Wasp

The best way to take down a Wasp is with explosive ammunition, so you'll want to keep track of spawn locations for weapons that use it. Apart from that, use the methods below to take down a wasp in any match.

Option One: Hydra

The Hydra is the best weapon to use against a Wasp, especially if you are doing it solo. If you switch your Hydra to use the target tracker (the targeting mode with the circular crosshair), you can target a Wasp in the air and rapidly fire at it to take it down with a few rockets. The Wasp can't dodge the rockets once you've targeted, so the enemy will have no choice but to retreat and find another spot.

Option Two: Concentrated Fire

If you are playing on a team, communicate with them and encourage them to concentrate fire on the Wasp to take it down quickly. Wasps are surprisingly weak when going against a team of players that are working together. However, if you're trying to take down a Wasp for the Weekly Challenge, this will lower the chances of you getting it.

Option Three: Vehicles

This is usually the fastest way to take down a Wasp, but it depends on your available vehicles. The Warthog (either normal or Rockethog) is excellent against the Wasp, but it's important to keep moving. Another Wasp is also an excellent option, but you want to keep a higher elevation than the enemy Wasp and fire the rockets at it rather than the turret.

Option Four: Rocket Launcher

While it will easily take down a Wasp with a single hit, this is one of the most inconvenient methods since it doesn't have a target lock. Only use this option if none of the other options are available and if the enemy Wasp stays in one position.
