In honor of Halo Infinite's official launch, Microsoft and 343 Industries are enacting various events to celebrate the occasion. One bonus players can grab on launch month is a Bonus Rec Pack. Bonus Rec Packs are a set of multiplayer bonuses that users can redeem for use when playing Halo Infinite online. Here's how players can acquire these exclusive items.
To claim the Halo Infinite Bonus Rec Packs follow the steps below:
- Open the Xbox Game Pass App
- Select the Perks tab from the Xbox Game Pass app
- Select the Halo Infinite: Pass Tense MA40 AR Bundle
- Select Claim
- Scan the QR Code or enter your shown code on the Halo Waypoint website
- Wait for a Waypoint noficiation to confirm the pack was added to your inventory

Keep in mind that only those subscribed to Xbox Game Pass are eligible for these Rec Packs. This Bonus Rec Pack is the first of Halo Infinite's monthly Rec Pac bonuses for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers. The rewards for Dec. 2021 are:
- 'Pass Tense' MA40 AR Coating
- Four Challenge Swaps
- Four 2XP Boosts
Make sure to grab this bonus before January 12, 2022, as Microsoft and 343 Industries plan to switch over to the next series of Xbox Game Pass bonuses at the start of the new year.
