How to trade in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

One person's Magikarp is another person's Gyarados.

As with all Pokémon games, trading is a huge part of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. For the players that don't want to meticulously search for the rarest entries in the Pokédex, trading is the best option to fill it.

How to Trade

The most important thing you need to know about trading in Arceus is that you must reach Mission No. 4 (Getting to Work on Research Tasks) to access the Trading Post, which is where you will trade Pokémon.

Once you have completed that mission, you can go to the Trading Post in Jubilife village. Its location is shown in the image below. Speak to Simona to bring up the conversation options and select I want to trade Pokémon.

You will be given a Link Code, which you must share with the person with whom you wish to trade. When both of you enter the eight-digit code, you will have access to the trade menu. Select which Pokémon you'd like to trade and confirm it to complete the process!
