Where to find Hisuian Growlithe in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Don't growl at Growlithe.

Growlithe is a Generation I Pokémon with a Hisuian variant that was added as Pokémon number 150 in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Pokédex, along with Hisuian Arcanine at entry 151. Like most Pokémon in the game, these Pokémon show up in specific areas and have unique features that you should know if you want to add it to your collection.

Growlithe Spawn Locations

There are only two areas where you can get these Pokémon.

  • Cobalt Coastlands: You can find Growlithe at Windbreak Stand and Veilstone Cape in the Cobalt Coastlands. On the map below, you can see Windbreak Stand is near the edge of the mainland, and Veilstone Cape is in the middle of the peninsula in the Cobalt Coastlands.

How to catch

These Pokémon can be caught like any other Pokémon: with Poké Balls. You can increase your chances of success by weakening Growlithe first. Growlithe is extremely weak against Water and Ground attacks, so be sure to bring a Pokémon of one of those types if you are going hunting for them. When you have brought them to low enough health (it's usually best to wait until it's in the red), toss a Poké Ball at it to capture it.

Evolutions

Hisuian Growlithe is the first form in its evolutionary line. Go into your Pokémon stash and manually evolve it once it has met the right conditions.

  • Conditions
    • Must be holding a Fire Stone to evolve into Hisuian Arcanine.

That's everything you need to know about how to get these Pokémon!
