Where to find Shaymin in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

There's no shame in looking at a guide for Shaymin.

The cute and friendly Shaymin can only be found in Legends: Arceus if the player has Pokémon Sword or Shield save data on their Switch. In addition, you'll need to have beaten the whole main story and reached the post-game in one of those two games.

How to catch Shaymin

The most difficult part of catching Shaymin is finding it in the first place. Your only hint is that it's somewhere with a lot of Gracidea Flowers, which isn't much of a hint at all. You'll need to head to Floaro Gardens right next to the main camp in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Approach the giant circle of withered flowers in Floaro Gardens. A small cutscene will play out, and then you'll be able to encounter Shaymin.

Catching Shaymin is exceedingly simple. Just fight it as you would any other Pokémon. It is level 70, though, so make sure you're prepared for that. If you happen to defeat Shaymin, there's no need for concern. You can try again as many times as needed until you catch the grassy hedgehog.

It may also be possible to catch Shaymin without a battle at all, which might make it the only legendary Pokémon catchable without a fight to our knowledge. We gave up on this after seven wasted Ultra Balls, so it is certainly not confirmed.
