Where to find Magmarizer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Magmar wants to evolve.

The Magmarizer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus has one purpose in the game—to evolve Magmar into Magmortar. For players who are dedicated to filling out their Pokédex, this item is required for them to fulfill their goal since it isn't possible to catch Magmortar in the wild.

How to get

There are two methods to getting a Magmarizer, and it's entirely up to player preference on which one to choose. The easy-but-expensive way to get the Magmarizer is to go to the Trading Post in Jubilife Village and purchase one with 1,400 Merit Points. Merit Points can be accumulated by turning in Satchels found in the wild that other players dropped.

Alternatively, the player can try their luck in the fields to get the Magmarizer. As you go on your travels, you will occasionally come across shiny rocks that stand out more than the others (pictured above). If you throw a Pokémon at one of these, there is a small chance that it could drop a Magmarizer.

The best method between the two is the Trading Post, as it doesn't rely on luck. But, it can be time-consuming to return all those satchels!
