Dying Light 2 allows you to team up with up to four other players to explore the massive open-world and complete missions together. Follow the steps below on how to play the co-op mode with friends:
Recommended Videos
- First off, you and your friends need to unlock the Dying Light 2 co-op by completing the Prologue story mission in single-player.
- Once the co-op has been unlocked for all players, head to the Pause Menu.
- Open the Online Menu, which will display your current squad, friends list, visibility, and more.
- On the top-right corner of the screen, if it says Network DISCONNECTED, you may have to restart the game in order to fix it. This is a persistent issue and is worth mentioning here.
- Go to Online Options and set the Game Type to Friends Only. You may also set it to Public or Private depending on who you want to play with.
- Invite your friends from the friends list or join their lobby. If you can't find them in the list, you'll have to add them to your platform ID.
