Dying Light 2 meets Vampire The Masquerade

Beginning October 26 and running until November 2 is The Frightening event. It's not going to be an event you want to miss, as it'll introduce some gnarly gameplay changes. You'll be more likely to cut off limbs, and you'll dish more damage at night. On top of that, Vials of Banu Haquim, Brujah, and Tremere Blood will give you temporary powers.

If you're a fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, then the enemies you run into should feel very familiar. Dying Light 2 has crossed over in a sense with other games before, with their various easter eggs sprinkled throughout the game, so it's not too surprising to see it happen again.

You can get the event vials by defeating various enemies as well as looting Dark Hollows and Forsaken Stores. Playing through The Frightening will allow you to hit goal milestones, and that means unlocking some goodies.

Dying Light 2 The Frightening rewards

Completing the event's Bounties and challenges at a silver score minimum will help reach the Participation Goal. Doing this one bounty or challenge rewards you with three vials of Banu Haquim, Brujah, and Tremere Blood. Completing five will reach the Warm-Up Goal. Doing that will reward you with the Bloodbane Blade weapon and blueprint. The Personal Goal will require 11 completed challenges, and you'll get the Banu Haqim outfit.

If the playerbase comes together and completes 775,000 bounties and challenges collectively, you will unlock the Banu Haqim Charm and the Haqim's Ascent paraglider skin. There are a lot of free goodies to get, and you only have a week to get it all done.
