Is cross progression coming to Apex Legends in 2022?

The feature is coming soon.

Apex Legends is available on multiple platforms and supports features like crossplay. However, the game doesn't currently support cross progression, which makes switching platforms unfavorable. Is this future coming to Apex Legends in 2022?

Although the official release date hasn't been confirmed, there are several reasons to assume that cross progression will be added to Apex Legends in 2022. Former Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier has addressed this issue before on Twitter, and other developers have done the same on other community forums and social media many times.

They have also assured players that the cross progression feature is currently under work, and players will be seeing it in the near future. Adding cross progression can be a tedious task, since the game has been out for about three years, and a lot of accounts have been created.

This feature allows you to carry your game account's progress, unlocks, and cosmetics when you switch devices. Currently, cross progression support is limited, as only PC players can link their Steam and Origin accounts. The ability to play on different consoles and PC with the same ID would be welcome, indeed.
