All Control spawn locations in Apex Legends

From Home Base to the Central Zone.

For Control mode in Apex Legends, there are five different locations players can spawn into. The most that one team can have access to is four, but for the majority of a game, a single team will generally hold 2-3 zones. We are using the Hammond Lab Control map as our example, but Spawn Locations across all maps will follow the same pattern. Let’s take a look.

While these are the general starting positions, keep in mind that the FOBs can be stolen from the other team, though the Home Bases cannot be. All conquerable Zones have a letter assigned to them, either A, B, or C. B will always be the Central Zone, while A and C will be the FOBs.

Players can always spawn at their Home Base or any base they own that connects to their Home Base. This means if you own your FOB and the Central Zone, you can spawn in three locations. That said, if you own the Central Zone but not your FOB, you can only spawn at your Home Base. This is because there is no connection between your Home Base and the Central Zone if you lose your FOB.

If your team gains control of all conquerable Zones, you can even spawn at the enemy team’s FOB too. This will force them into a Lockout, but this is a rare occurrence when playing a team of equal skill level.
