Can you have multiple saves in Dying Light 2?

Be careful with this save file.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is Techland's sequel to the original Dying Light. It is a narrative action game set in a post-apocalyptic world infested with zombies. Each choice the player makes affects the game's outcome, which may leave the player wondering if there are multiple saves in Dying Light 2.

The answer is yes and no—you can have multiple saves, but each file is limited to one save. Since there is only one save per file, any decision you make is permanent, and the only way to see the other outcomes is to start a new game. As Dying Light 2 autosaves frequently, players will be locked into their chosen path.

This may be a shock to some players who are used to having multiple save files for the same game. Normally, players would be able to save before making a game-altering decision. But in Dying Light 2, your choices are permanent and cannot be reversed as your one file autosaves after completing quests and missions.

Since there is only one save per file, Dying Light 2 players will need to think carefully about the kind of character they want to play. Make your choices count as you are stuck with them!
