In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Overqwil is a new regional evolution of Qwilfish. This Pokémon will evolve from Hisuian Qwilfish once the player uses the move Barb Barrage 20 times in Strong Style. Overqwil is a Dark and Poison-type Pokémon.
Many of Overqwil's strongest moves match its typing to benefit from the S.T.A.B. (Same Type Attack Bonus), which will cause opponents in battle to take increased damage from the moves. Self-Destruct, Double-Edge, Aqua Tail, and Dark Pulse are the best moves for this Pokémon.

How to use Overqwil best in battle
Overqwil is a Dark and Poison-type Pokémon. For players to best use this Pokémon, they need to know which typings are strong and which are weak against Overqwil's typings.
Poison-type Pokémon will take more damage from Ground and Psychic-type moves and will be super effective in battle against Fairy and Grass-type Pokémon.
Fighting, Fairy, and Bug-type attacks are all super effective against Dark-type Pokémon. Moves that have a Dark-typing will be super effective against Psychic and Ghost-type Pokémon.
