Horizon Forbidden West is set to arrive on Feb. 18, 2022, and players will have to learn how to Craft numerous items to survive in the wild. Crafting arrows, various types of ammunition, traps, potions, and other items will require specific materials that players will collect by exploring the map.
To access the Crafting window, hold down on the d-pad. Use the left and right d-pad to scroll through all the items that you can craft. Players will need to have ample materials in their inventory to craft items in Horizon Forbidden West. Once you have enough materials, select the item you want to craft and hold down the X button to complete Crafting.
Horizon Forbidden West follows right after Zero Dawn, and the Crafting mechanism works similarly in both games. Players can purchase materials from Merchants or collect them throughout their expedition in Horizon Forbidden West.
Crafting is one of the primary mechanics in the game, and it is ideal to stock up the inventory with enough materials to craft at any time. Taking down machines will reward players with Metal Shards, rare modifications, and other valuable resources like Blaze Canisters, Echo Shells, Chillwater. Make sure to hunt animals to get all variants of Meat to increase ammunition, potion, trap pouches by Crafting.
