The main purpose of the grappling hook in Shadow Warrior 3 is to pull Lo Wang toward the green rings scattered throughout the levels. This lets Lo Wang explore places he normally couldn't explore. Besides that, the grappling hook can be used in combat to great effect.

Lo Wang can pull himself quickly toward enemies using the grappling hook. Alternatively, you can pull explosive barrels toward Lo Wang to use them against enemies. The grappling hook enhances Lo Wang's combat and exploration, making for a fun and interesting experience in the sandbox.
