Can you change your appearance in LEGO Star Wars: Castaways after starting the game?

Apple Arcade's exclusive LEGO Star Wars: Castaways brings all the familiar elements back for brick-loving players to absorb. Of course, being able to customize your character is just one of the many. So yes, you can alter your character's appearance after starting the game. Doing this involves a little legwork around your new home away from home.

Starting out, you will be able to create your character from hundreds of different LEGO bricks. Once thrown into the story itself, you will have to progress along the main quest chain before being given the chance to acquire new cosmetics.

Before long, you will meet a tradesperson named Kivo Doktut, who tends to loiter around the Marketplace. Using the Databits you have obtained, you will be able to browse and purchase new items for your character. These items will typically swap out for fresh items every 60 minutes.

As you progress deeper into the main story arc, you will have the opportunity to meet new vendors and pick up new items with the Databits in your wallet. You can view your inventory and all purchased cosmetics through the Customize tab in the Pause menu.
