Martin is a character who is in town at the start of Rune Factory 5 and he works very close to the Rigbarth Outpost. He is determined to become a skilled blacksmith no matter what the cost and is driven by his passion. If you are looking for a hard-working partner, then Martin might just be for you.
How to increase Martin's hearts
Martin can be found at True Strike Smithy during the day, where he happily practices away at being a blacksmith. Speaking with him each day, as well as providing him with a gift, will help raise your Friendship level. You will also want to give him a gift for extra points on his birthday, which is on Autumn 8.

- Minerals
Disliked Items:
- Mushrooms
Martin can be one over by just growing yourself a large amount of fruit as he will happily take the sweet produce with a smile. Once you are at heart level, 7 use the BTW Menu to confess to Martin. You can date multiple characters at the same time but only marry one.

The marriage option will become available once you have completed the following tasks:
- Completed the three normal Martin's events, a pink icon will appear on their map icon notifying you of each event.
- Completed Martin's final story event.
- Met everyone in town.
- Have unlocked and made an engagement ring.
- Have him at ten hearts.
- Have a double bed.
Once you have met all of these requirements, you will be able to propose to and marry Martin.
