How to get a Charm in Lost Ark

Optimize your characters!

As you play through Laost Ark, you will come across plenty of times where you need to go through the Character Profile and adjust your character's cosmetics and appearance. If you've ever noticed, there are three slots at the bottom left of the Character Profile window called under the header Special Equipment.

When you hover over the slots with your mouse, you'll see that they are spaces for items called a Compass, a Charm, and an Emblem. There's a good chance that if you've never noticed these slots before, they're empty.

However, you can obtain a Charm by first finding 12 World Tree Leaves. You can earn these leaves by diligently using your trade skills in different areas of the world. You can also track how many of them you have by looking at your Collectibles.

After obtaining the leaves, you can go to an NPC named Chapman in any major town to exchange them for items (we used the map of Rothun on the continent of Rohendel for this example).

You will notice that the second item available for you to purchase will be called Faint Ore Charm. Buying it will bind to your roster and will provide your character with three special effects that are decided on randomly. You will be able to see that your character has it by going to your Character Profile and checking your Special Equipment.
