Genshin Impact Vibro-Crystal Research Event guide

There's another desperate researcher—this time, from Fontaine.

Genshin Impact's Vibro-Crystal Research event features another researcher named Patrice, who needs help in proving the effectiveness of Harmonics in battle. The event runs from April 21, 2022, to May 5, 2022, and is open to all players who have completed the following prerequisites:

Unlocking the Event Domain

Once you've completed all prerequisites, you'll get an Event Quest called Vibro-Crystal Projections, which starts from Katheryne in Liyue. The quest requires you to head to The Chasm. After completing the Event Quest, the Vibro-Crystal Research Domain will open beside Patrice in The Chasm. There are six stages that will gradually open during the first six days of the event.

Party and Harmonics Setup

Upon selecting a stage, make sure to select the difficulty at the bottom right of the screen before clicking start.

You need to set up two parties and their corresponding Harmonics before entering a stage. You can choose from any of the four Trial Characters on the upper left corner of the screen to help you in battle. Like the Spiral Abyss, each character can only be used in one party at a time. Food and Elemental Resonance effects don't work inside the Domain.

Refer to the Challenge Details on the upper right of the screen to find the enemy information for each half of the stage.

Click on the Harmonics button beside each party to set up the Vibro-Crystal Connections. Click on the blue button on the left to select a Transmitter Crystal. Its effects are listed on the left of the screen.

After, select the Receiver Crystal you want to connect it to. The effects of the Receiver Crystal will also appear on the left of the screen. Match the three Transmitters and Receivers to get your desired triggers and effects. Don't forget to do this twice for both your parties!

How to Complete the Vibro-Crystal Domain

The Vibro-Crystal Domain works like the Spiral Abyss in that it's divided into two halves. Each half lasts for 2.5 minutes.

You need to create as many Harmonic responses as possible by triggering the conditions of the Transmission Crystals. For instance, for the first Domain, this involves:

  • Deal damage to opponents using Elemental Burst
  • Use an Elemental Skill
  • Character takes the field

Be on the lookout for any new conditions in the upcoming stages. You'll obtain Harmonic Points by triggering these responses, which will grant your party a Crit Damage buff once the gauge at the top of the screen fills. It can be filled up to four times.

Ultimately, the goal is to gather at least 500 score points for the Primogem reward and 2,000 points to get all of the rewards in the Domain. Score points are obtained by defeating enemies.

Rewards

Head to the event menu and select Challenge Rewards to claim them before the event ends. You'll receive Primogems, Mora, Hero's Wits, Mystic Enhancement Ores, and weapon Ascension materials upon getting 500, 1000, and 2,000 points for all six stages in the event Domain.
