Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt takes place after the sunset, which means players will have very little environmental natural light to work with. You can increase the brightness by going to the Video tab in the Settings. This will not only brighten the eerie, dark atmosphere of the game, but also help players identify enemies from farther away. We recommend players set brightness to +1 to get clearer and brighter sightlines across the map.

In the Trios mode, teammates can revive players after they are downed. Similarly, Respawn Stations are set all across the map, allowing players to bring back their teammates. When players get downed, they enter a regeneration phase with a countdown. You will get regenerated upon successfully surviving through the countdown. To revive a downed teammate, simply go close to them and press F to get them back up.

Should you kill Mortals in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt?

Absolutely not! Mortals are civilians with resonant blood, which makes a Vampire powerful. You will have to feed on them to get specific Discipline boosts. However, shooting them reveals your location to the enemies for 60 seconds, and the Bloodhunt begins. Players can survive this by running far away from the area. Similarly, feeding on one Mortal in front of another breaks the Masquerade, and your location will be revealed.
