Get started early!

Marvel Snap is a fast-paced tactical CCG that features your favorite heroes and villains from the Marvel universe. While no release date has been announced, there is a closed beta that begins on May 24, 2022. Those who have gained entry to the beta may be wondering if progress will carry over to the full release.

The answer is yes—progress from the Marvel Snap beta will carry over to the full release. This means that any cards, avatars, and more that you unlock will be available on day one of Marvel Snap's release. This will give you an edge over new players, as you will likely already have built up some powerful combos.

How to unlock more cards in Marvel Snap

Marvel Snap features over 150 heroes and villains, which may leave you wondering how to unlock more cards. Here is how to get more cards in Marvel Snap.

  • Collection Level
  • Season Pass
  • Nexus Events
  • Rank

Most of these can be done by simply playing the game. Some of these are not yet in the beta, so for now, focus on playing and winning matches in Marvel Snap to increase your card collection.

How to increase Collection Level

At the end of each match, regardless of whether you win or lose, you will receive XP toward one of your cards. This can visually upgrade your card and, in turn, increase your Collection Level. When your Collection Level increases, you can earn new cards. So, keep playing matches against other players to increase your Collection Level.
