In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will undoubtedly come across the need for additional inventory space. This game will constantly have you collecting things and swapping things in and out of your pockets. That means you will often be running into a full inventory, which can be incredibly frustrating. We don't want to drop all that sweet loot, so let's take a look at how to expand your inventory in New Horizons!
How to Increase Your Inventory
Increasing your inventory is going to require that you earn yourself up a bunch of Nook Miles! This is a new currency that you can earn which has you completing certain tasks in the game. These tasks vary from catching bugs, fish, chopping wood, redeeming Nook Miles, crafting, and so much more. To figure out what you can do, open up your phone and head to the Nook Miles+ application! You will be shown multiple different categories that you can select:
Go through these categories and take a look at the various things you can complete. Some are easier than others, so pick off some the stuff you were likely going to do during the day anyway. Once you've completed one of the tasks, you will need to go to the app and redeem it! This collects the Nook Miles which you can then spend on various things, one of those being expanding your inventory!
Head over to the Nook's Cranny area and locate Timmy and Tommy who have a shop. You will find an ATM looking thing (Nook Stop) here where you can redeem your Nook Miles! Look for the option that is called, Pocket Organization Guide.
It will set you back 5,000 Nook Miles, so you might need to do quite a few different tasks to earn enough to purchase it. Once you do, you will pretty much instantly be given an additional 10 spaces in your pockets to fill up with fish and bugs! That's a pretty significant increase, so make sure to grab this as soon as you can to make your life easier when going out to collect things.
That's everything you need to know about how to expand your inventory in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
