Pokémon Scarlet and Violet may have large-scale Pokémon battles

It's an all-out Pokémon battle.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are introducing many new features, including what appears to be large-scale Pokémon battles, at least for the series. This is most likely the new auto-battles being implemented in the new entries.

This can be seen in the Seek Your Treasure trailer on The Pokémon Company's YouTube channel around the 44-second mark. In this clip, you can see the player controlling one or two Pokémon and battling against multiple Pokémon. This new auto-battling will let players battle in the overworld, but it is unclear how many can be in battle at once.

This Let's Go feature will shake things up for the Pokémon series. You can find more details about this and the larger-scale battles on the official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet webpage. Your Pokémon will still gain experience through these auto battles. Just be sure to pick a fight you can win.

This is one of many new features coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The open-world entry is pulling out all the stops and including these larger-than-life battles is an exciting experience.
