The Game Awards announced the nominees for different categories, and fans are excited to see which nomination takes the title of the best Role Playing Game in 2022. This year, the RPG category features five games, and you can only vote for any one of them. Here are all the nominees for the Best RPG in Game of the Year 2022.

Elden Ring

Elden Ring has been nominated for several other categories in this year's Game Awards, including Game of the Year 2022. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Elden Ring was developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Live A Live

The remake of the classic JRPG Live A Live in 2022 was developed by Square Enix and Historia and produced by Square Enix and Nintendo. This turn-based RPG features a wide range of stories with several protagonists over different eras, making it one of the best choices to win in the RPGs category.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon fans are having the best time this year with Scarlet and Violet's release and Pokémon Legends: Arceus being nominated in the Game Awards. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is one of the top contenders to win the best RPG in the Game Awards 2022.

Triangle Strategy

Triangle Strategy follows the aftermath of the Saltiron War, and its diverse plot follows the protagonist's journey through a war-torn nation. Developed by Square Enix and ARTDINK, and published by Square Enix, Triangle Strategy is a brilliant tactical RPG nominated in the Game Awards 2022.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 picks up the plot right after its predecessor, and the narrative is set in the vast open world of Aionios. Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a worthy contender to win the best RPG title at the Game Awards 2022.

How to vote for the Best RPG in Game of the Year 2022

To vote for the Best RPG for Game of the Year 2022:

  1. Visit the official Game Awards website and select Sign In.
  2. You can use your Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, and Google accounts to log in to your profile.
  3. Once in the RPG category, simply click on the game you feel deserves to be the best RPG in 2022.

Several badges can be earned by simply for all 31 categories in the Game Awards. Fan voting via Discord will also be available in the Game Awards 2022, and players must join the server to participate.
