Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gave me a new love for my favorite Pokémon and introduced many new ones. Running through the open world was such a joy, and the upcoming DLC will further increase this. However, many questions still remain about the DLC, including when it releases.

What is the release date for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero?

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be released in 2023 in two parts. Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, called The Teal Mask, is planned for the fall of 2023. Part 2, The Indigo Disk, is planned for winter 2023. In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, you'll meet the new legendary Pokémon Ogerpon (coming in Part 1) and Terapagos (coming in Part 2).

Part 1 will take place during a country festival, while Part 2 takes players to a new academy in the ocean. I can't wait to dive back into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and explore all the new additions to the game.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Early-Purchase Bonus

If you preorder DLC until October 31, 2023, you'll get the following early-purchase bonus:

  • Special Hisuian Zoroark, which is unobtainable through normal gameplay. You'll be able to get this Pokémon in different ways later.
  • New uniform set, which differs between Pokémon Scarlett and Pokémon Violet.
