Flight Plans Warzone 2 DMZ Mission Guide

Unlock the free blueprint now!

Flight Plans is a Tier 5 Black Mous Faction in Call of Duty DMZ. This mission requires you to plant hacked thumb drives at three different locations across Al Mazrah. However, these buildings are locked, so you'll have to acquire a Ch 7 Editorial Department Key and a Control Tower Key before trying to attempt this mission. Naturally, you need to know the exact locations of these buildings and how to get the keys to unlock them. Here's how to complete the Flight Plans mission in DMZ.

How to complete the Flight Plans DMZ Mission

The Flight Plans mission in DMZ has two objectives for which you need to travel to four different POIs. Here are all the objectives for the Flight Plans mission in DMZ.

  • Loot the three hacked thumb drives from the dumpster dead drop near the Al Bagra Fortress.
  • In one deployment, the plant hacked thumb drives in computers at the air traffic control tower, the northern Observatory telescope, and the Al-Mazrah City TV Station.

Where to find the Hacked Thumb Drives for Flight Plans in DMZ

For the first part of the mission, you need to pick up three hacked thumb drives from the Al Bagra Fortress Dead Drop. This dumpster is located on map coordinate G8, and you can check the yellow pin on the map image above to see the precise location.

There are a few AI forces in this area that you can clear out before interacting with the dumpster. Once you've collected the hacked thumb drives, you need to plant them in three computers at various locations across the map.

Air Traffic Control Tower Computer Location in DMZ

The first computer you need to visit is at Al Malik Airport in south-eastern Al Mazrah. The computer is placed on the very top section of the Air Traffic Control Tower. Check the yellow pin on the map image above to see the precise location of the Control Tower.

This is a locked area and can only be opened using the Control Tower Key. Remember, you might find the Pyro Commander at Control Tower, so be prepared for a massive fight. Enemy operators also spawn close to this location, so I'd recommend visiting this location with a squad. Dying with the keys and hacked drives means you will lose all progress and must start the mission once again.

Take the zipline from outside the tower as shown in the second image, and enter the top section of the tower to plant the drive. The computer on which you need to plant the hacked drive is located directly on the left side of the staircase, as shown in the image above.

After planting the first hacked thumb drive, head over to the Zaya Observatory area in central Al Mazrah. The second computer can be found on the ground floor of the dome-shaped Observatory Telescope in the northern part of the mountain. Check the yellow pin on the map image above to see the precise location of the Observatory.

This area is heavily guarded by AI forces, so it's best to clear out any threats before planting the hacked thumb drive. The computer where you need to plant the item is located on the ground floor of the Observatory, as shown in the image above.

After entering the building, take the elevator on the right-hand side of the entrance. This elevator leads directly to the Ch 7 Editorial Department room. Use the Ch 7 Editorial Department to unlock the room shown in the image above.

There are several computers in this room, and you must plant the hacked thumb drive in the first one located on the left side of the room.

How to get Ch 7 Editorial Department and Control Tower Key in DMZ

You can obtain different keys in every match by doing a few things in DMZ. Start by completing HVT contracts across the map, as these AI forces often drop two keys at once. You can also purchase certain keys from the Buy Stations, so it is a good practice to check as many as possible. Defeating the Chopper Commander and collecting Supply Drops will also fetch unique keys in DMZ. Likewise, some of the faction missions also have keys as a reward.

You can follow the methods mentioned above to easily obtain the Ch 7 Editorial Department and Control Tower Key in DMZ. I would recommend expanding your Stash before unlocking Tier 5 with every faction. This way, you can have more than 45 keys in the Stash that can be used at any time to complete missions that require opening locked spaces.
