How to solve the Yasna Monument Dendro Barrier puzzle in Genshin Impact

Play through a long quest chain before attempting this puzzle.

While exploring the Yasna Monument in Genshin Impact, you'll encounter a Precious Chest and Dendroculus trapped inside a Dendro Barrier. To free them, you must solve a puzzle that involves summoning Healthy Dendrograna.

Before starting, you must complete a non-negotiable prerequisite, which is a Sumeru World Quest called The Rhythm that Nurtures the Sprout:

After completing this World Quest, you'll learn the Aranara song called Rhythm of the Sprout, which is the key to solving the puzzle.

Once you're ready, head to the puzzle area circled in the image above. You'll find a Sprouting Branch, which looks like an Auspicious Branch, but with music notes coming out of it (pictured above). Equip the Vintage Lyre Gadget and activate it beside the Sprouting Branch and follow the prompts to play the Rhythm of the Sprout (do > so > so > la > ti on the third line).

This will activate the Sprouting Branch, now allowing you to interact with it to summon Healthy Dendrogranum. It will be used to shoot down special floating projectiles.

Floating Projectile #1

After summoning a Healthy Dendrogranum, follow the green trace leading up the cliff behind the Sprouting Branch. Use a Charged Attack (while the Healthy Dendrogranum is still active) to break the rock, revealing a floating projectile. Summon another Healthy Dendrogranum, then shoot the floating projectile until a Dendro symbol appears on it.

Floating Projectile #2

Beyond the branch with the Rishboland Tiger, you'll find another Dendro Rock. Summon a Healthy Dendrogranum, and while it's still active, shoot down the Dendro Rock with a Charged Attack to break it, revealing a floating projectile. Then summon another Healthy Dendrogranum and shoot the floating projectile until a Dendro symbol appears on it.

These two objects are quite far away from the Sprouting Branch. If you're having trouble shooting, climb the cliff with the first floating projectile, which will narrow the distance enough to guarantee your shots.

Floating Projectile #3

Summon Healthy Dendrogranum, then use the Four-Leaf Sigils in front of the Sprouting Branch to propel yourself to another cliff, where you'll find a floating projectile. Shoot it while the Healthy Dendrogranum is still active, and make sure the Dendro symbol appears.

Once you've completed all three floating projectiles in any order, the Dendro Barrier will disperse, allowing you to loot a Dendroculus and Precious Chest.
