Fire Emblem is an old JRPG series that dates back to the dawn of time and has had several releases. Because there are so many Fire Emblem games, it's no wonder some players want to know what order they should play them in.

Fire Emblem games in chronological order

To play all Fire Emblem games in order, you must start with the first game, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, or the remake called Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. After the first game, you can play all Fire Emblem games in order by moving on to the next game in the series by release year.

All Fire Emblem games in order

This list displays all Fire Emblem games in order of release date and mainline games. We also included prequel and spin-off games in our list. However, some Fire Emblem games might be harder to obtain and play due to being old, so you may need to dust off old copies or play certain remakes. Luckily, playing Fire Emblem games out of order is not much of a problem.
