WoW Dragonflight – Is the Trading Post worth your time?

With the release of the long-awaited Trading Post in patch 10.0.5, you may notice that the Traveler's log, a sort of quest long for Trading Post-related objectives, has a ton of potential activities for you to undergo. These activities are seriously long-term, some requiring weeks of progress to complete. If you're wondering if this stuff is worth your time, then you've come to the right place. Here's whether or not the Trading Post is worth your time and effort in WoW Dragonflight.

Is the Trading Post worth doing in WoW Dragonflight?

The answer to this question really depends on if you like cosmetic rewards or not. The reason is that the Trading Post is entirely comprised of cosmetic rewards. No actual power can be gained from participating in the Trading Post. If you are a huge fan of cosmetics, then the answer is still not as clear as you may think. Completing Traveler's Log activities does two things: Gives you Trader's Tinder and grants you progress toward the Trading Post season's end reward.

Trader's Tinder is the primary resource used to purchase cosmetic goods from the Trading Post vendor. You earn 500 every month and can earn additional from completing the Traveler's Log. Some of the higher-tier goods in the Trading Post tend to be rather expensive, so if you have no intention of working on the Traveler's Log, we recommend hoarding Trader's Tinder until the rewards you really want arrive at the post.

If you are looking to earn the Traveler's Log end reward, then you will absolutely need to complete the log's requested objectives. The end reward does not require Trader's Tinder, just the completion of several of these objectives. Expect to be working on this long-term before getting the reward. There is a lot on offer in that log, and many of the objectives will take significant time to complete.
